За оцінками Всесвітньої організації охорони здоров’я (ВООЗ), у світі ГВ і ГС уражені 325 млн людей, результатом чого є близько 1,4 млн випадків смертей на рік The patterns and modern of hepatitis’ С epidemic process in Ukraine are examined as well as features of its prevalence among the different population groups. Regardless of decreasing the incidence of acute hepatitis С, the number of people chronically infected with HCV is increasing. The official statistics do not reflect the intensity of the epidemic process of HCV infection in our country, which may lead to an underestimation of the epidemic situation. The basis of hidden epidemic process is a significant array of undiagnosed individuals. The necessity of intensifying efforts to identify patients and infected persons, interrupting the transmission of HCV, as well as increasing the effectiveness of seroepidemiological studies and the information content of their results is substantiated Экз-ры: |
