Аннотация: У ході дослідження в українського населення юнацького віку без патології верхніх дихальних шляхів із ортогнатичним прикусом встановлені виражені прояви статевого диморфізму (більші значення в юнаків) величини телерентгенометричних параметрів під’язикової кістки та язика як у представників без урахування типу обличчя, так і, у більшості випадків, в юнаків із різними типами обличчя. Також між дівчатами або юнаками з різними типами обличчя встановлені достовірні або тенденції відмінностей величини даних параметрів – у дівчат із вузьким обличчям менші значення величини відстані VT та ділянки TA, ніж у представниць із дуже широким і широким типами обличчя; а в юнаків із вузьким обличчям більші значення величини відстаней AH-FH, AH-МР і H-VT, ніж у представників із дуже широким і широким типами обличчя.

Аннотация: Changes in the size of the upper respiratory tract can lead to the emergence or aggravation, complications of already existing pathologies. In this regard, there is a need to study their sizes both in normal and pathological conditions. Cephalometric analysis is one of the important tools that allows you to assess the location of the structures of the upper respiratory tract and their parameters. The purpose of the study is to establish the peculiarities of correlations between cephalometric parameters of the upper respiratory tract in Ukrainian young men and young women with an orthognathic bite with a wide face type. On primary lateral radiographs of Ukrainian young men (aged 17 to 21 years) and young women (aged 16 to 20 years) with a wide facial type, orthognathic bite and absence of upper respiratory tract pathology, using the licensed medical software OnyxCeph3™, version 3DPro (company Image Instruments GmbH, Germany) and the diagnostic program "UniqCeph" carried out a cephalometric analysis of the upper respiratory tract, soft palate, hyoid bone and tongue. Correlations were evaluated using the Statistica 6.0 license package using Spearman's non-parametric statistics. In young men and young women with a wide face type, multiple, mostly straight, medium- strength reliable (r= from 0.42 to 0.56) and strong (r= from 0.62 to 0.82) correlations were established between most of the cephalometric characteristics of the upper respiratory tract itself, and only in young women - multiple straight correlations of average strength reliable (r=0.44 and r=0.53) relationships between most of the cephalometric characteristics of the hyoid bone. In addition, in young men with a wide face type, multiple straight correlations of mostly medium strength, reliable (r= from 0.47 to 0.52) and unreliable (r= from 0.30 to 0.41) relationships of the AH-CV, AH-MP or VT distances and most of the cephalometric characteristics of the upper respiratory tract itself, mainly the inverse of the average strength of reliable (r=-0.44 in both cases) and unreliable (r=-0.32 and r=-0.38) correlations of the value of most of the cephalometric characteristics of the soft palate (with the exception of the PM-U distance) and the tongue, as well as mostly straight correlations of medium strength unreliable (r= from 0.34 to 0.38) relationships between the values of most of the cephalometric characteristics of the hyoid bone (with the exception of the AH-CV distance) and the tongue; and in young women, there are direct, reliable, medium-strength (r=0.45 and r=0.53) and strong (r=0.63 in both cases) relationships between the value of the AH- CV distance and almost all cephalometric characteristics of the upper respiratory tract itself, as well as mainly direct unreliable average strength (r= from 0.37 to 0.38) correlations between the size of the PM-U or AH-FH distance and most of the characteristics of the tongue. Thus, the most pronounced manifestations of sexual dimorphism correlations are established between the cephalometric characteristics of the upper respiratory tract itself and the hyoid bone or tongue, as well as between the cephalometric characteristics of the soft palate and the tongueЗміни в розмірах верхніх дихальних шляхів можуть призводити до виникнення або загострення, ускладнення вже наявних патологій. У зв’язку з цим існує потреба дослідження їх розмірів як у нормі, так і при патологічних станах. Одним з важливих інструментів, що дозволяє оцінити взаєморозташування структур верхніх дихальних шляхів та їх параметри, є цефалометричний аналіз. Мета дослідження – встановлення особливостей кореляцій між цефалометричними параметрами верхніх дихальних шляхів в українських юнаків і дівчат із ортогнатичним прикусом із широким типом обличчя. На первинних бокових телерентгенограмах українських юнаків (віком від 17 до 21 років) і дівчат (віком від 16 до 20 років) із широким типом обличчя, ортогнатичним прикусом і відсутністю патології верхніх дихальних шляхів за допомогою ліцензованого медичного програмного забезпечення OnyxCeph?™ версії 3DPro (компанії Image Instruments GmbH, Німеччина) та діагностичної програми “UniqCeph” проведено цефалометричний аналіз верхніх дихальних шляхів, м’якого піднебіння, під’язикової кістки та язика. Оцінку кореляцій проведено в ліцензійному пакеті “Statistica 6.0” за допомогою непараметричної статистики Спірмена. У юнаків і дівчат із широким типом обличчя встановлені множинні, переважно прямі середньої сили достовірні (r= від 0,42 до 0,56) та сильні (r= від 0,62 до 0,82) зв’язки між більшістю цефалометричних характеристик власне верхніх дихальних шляхів, а лише у дівчат – множинні прямі середньої сили достовірні (r=0,44 і r=0,53) зв’язки між більшістю цефалометричних характеристик під’язикової кістки. Крім того, у юнаків із широким типом обличчя встановлені множинні прямі переважно середньої сили достовірні (r= від 0,47 до 0,52) та недостовірні (r= від 0,30 до 0,41) зв’язки величини відстаней AH-CV, AH-МР або VT та більшістю цефалометричних характеристик власне верхніх дихальних шляхів, переважно зворотні середньої сили достовірні (r=-0,44 в обох випадках) та недостовірні (r=-0,32 і r=-0,38) зв’язки величини більшості цефалометричних характеристик м’якого піднебіння (за виключенням відстані PM-U) та язика, а також переважно прямі середньої сили недостовірні (r= від 0,34 до 0,38) зв’язки величини більшості цефалометричних характеристик під’язикової кістки (за виключенням відстані AH-CV) та язика; а у дівчат – прямі достовірні середньої сили (r=0,45 і r=0,53) та сильні (r=0,63 в обох випадках) зв’язки між величиною відстані AH-CV та практично усіма цефалометричними характеристиками власне верхніх дихальних шляхів, а також прямі переважно недостовірні середньої сили (r= від 0,37 до 0,38) зв’язки між величиною відстані PM-U або AH-FH та більшістю характеристик язика. Отже, найбільш виражені прояви статевого диморфізму зв’язків встановлені між цефалометричними характеристиками власне верхніх дихальних шляхів та під’язикової кістки або язика, а також між цефалометричними характеристиками м’якого піднебіння та язика

Аннотация: The prevalence of pathologies related to the soft palate and its surrounding structures is a serious challenge for medicine. Sleep apnea and other diseases directly related to this anatomical region pose a threat not only due to the actual cause of deaths, but also complications of concomitant diseases. In this regard, the definition of normative indicators of the upper respiratory tract, in particular the soft palate and its surrounding structures, is a relevant topic for study. The purpose of the work is to build and analyze the regression models of the area of the soft palate and tongue in young men and young women with an orthognathic bite without and taking into account the type of face, depending on the features of teleroentgenometric indicators of the upper respiratory tract. With the help of the licensed medical software OnyxCeph?™, version 3DPro and the diagnostic program “UniqCeph”, a cephalometric analysis of lateral teleroentgenograms of 49 young men and 76 young women with an orthognathic bite and the absence of upper respiratory tract pathology was performed (primary teleroentgenograms were obtained from the database of the Research Center and Department of Pediatric Dentistry, National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia). Face types in young men and young women were determined using the Garson index. Regression models of the area of the soft palate and tongue depending on teleroentgenometric indicators of the upper respiratory tract were built using the license package “Statistica 6.0”. In Ukrainian young women with an orthognathic bite, regardless of face type, with very wide and wide face types, all possible models of the area of the soft palate and tongue were built depending on teleroentgenometric indicators of the upper respiratory tract with a coefficient of determination (R[[p]]2[[/p]]) greater than 0.5 (R[[p]]2[[/p]]= from 0.682 to 0.937, p0.001), which most often include the thickness of the soft palate and the length of the soft palate (42.9 % each), tongue height and tongue length (30.0% each), the value of the position of the hyoid bone relative to the vertical mandibular plane and the angle of inclination of the soft palate (20.0 % each). In Ukrainian young men with an orthognathic bite without taking into account the type of face and with a wide face type, all possible models of the area of the soft palate and tongue were also built depending on teleroentgenometric indicators of the upper respiratory tract with a coefficient of determination greater than 0.5 (R[[p]]2[[/p]]Поширеність патологій, пов’язаних з м’яким піднебінням та оточуючими його структурами є серйозним викликом для медицини. Апное сну та інші захворювання напряму пов’язані з даним анатомічним регіоном несуть загрозу не тільки за рахунок власне можливості летальних випадків, але і ускладнення супутніх захворювань. У зв’язку з цим визначення нормативних показників верхніх дихальних шляхів, зокрема м’якого піднебіння і оточуючих його структур є актуальною темою для вивчення. Мета роботи – побудувати та провести аналіз регресійних моделей площі м’якого піднебіння та язика в українських юнаків і дівчат із ортогнатичним прикусом без і з урахуванням типу обличчя у залежності від особливостей телерентгенометричних показників верхніх дихальних шляхів. За допомогою ліцензованого медичного програмного забезпечення OnyxCeph?™, версії 3DPro та діагностичної програми «UniqCeph» проведено цефалометричний аналіз бокових телерентгенограм 49 українських юнаків і 76 українських дівчат із ортогнатичним прикусом і відсутністю патології верхніх дихальних шляхів (первинні телерентгенограми отримані з бази даних науково-дослідного центру та кафедри стоматології дитячого віку Вінницького національного медичного університету ім. М. І. Пирогова). Типи обличчя в юнаків і дівчат визначали за допомогою індексу Гарсона. Регресійні моделі площі м’якого піднебіння та язика у залежності від телерентгенометричних показників верхніх дихальних шляхів побудовані за допомогою ліцензійного пакету “Statistica 6.0”. В українських дівчат із ортогнатичним прикусом без урахування типу обличчя, з дуже широким і широким типами обличчя побудовані усі можливі моделі площі м’якого піднебіння та язика в залежності від телерентгенометричних показників верхніх дихальних шляхів з коефіцієнтом детермінації (R2) більшим 0,5 (R2= від 0,682 до 0,937, р0,001), до яких найчастіше входять товщина м’якого піднебіння та довжина м’якого піднебіння (по 42,9 %), висота язика та довжина язика (по 30,0 %), величина положення під’язикової кістки відносно нижньощелепної площини за вертикаллю та величина кута нахилу м’якого піднебіння (по 20,0 %). В українських юнаків із ортогнатичним прикусом без урахування типу обличчя та з широким типом обличчя також побудовані усі можливі моделі площі м’якого піднебіння та язика в залежності від телерентгенометричних показників верхніх дихальних шляхів з коефіцієнтом детермінації більшим 0,5 (R2
